Tour itinerary

Day 1: Kampala to Kibale Forest National park

After breakfast drive to Kibale forest national park and arrive in the afternoon for lunch. Take a nature hike to the crater lakes

and Nyakasura's ‘Amabereganyinamwiru’ loosely translated as the ‘growing breasts on the rock’.

Day 2: Chimp trekking

After breakfast start your chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest national park. Then, continue to Semuliki national park for

birding and primates tramping.

Day 3: Primates Trek in the Semuliki Valley

Have breakfast and get into the rainforest in Semuliki valley for chimp tramping and birding. After lunch, go back to the forest

for a wildlife visit.

Day 4: Semuliki to Queen Elizabeth

After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth following a pleasant road along Rwenzori Mountain, known as the ‘Mountain of the

Moon’.Enjoy a game drive on your way to Mweya Safari Lodge. After lunch at the Lodge, sail along the Kazinga Channel,

which is known for its exceptional birding and game screening.

Day 5: Wildlife tour in Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will have to get upearly in the morning to catch up with the early risers, especially predators like hyenas and leopards.

After breakfast continue to Kyambura Gorge for chimp trailing. Enjoy lunch at Jacana Safari Lodge andtake a walk in

Maramagambo forest. Visit the bat cave where bats are feasted on by enormous pythons.

Day 6: QENP to Bwindi via Ishasha

After breakfast, we will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park through the Ishasha southern sector of Queen

Elizabeth National Park in search of tree-climbing lions. We will carry on to Bwindi and get there in the early evening. To end

the day, we will have a community walk to the Pygmies for cultural leisure. 

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast early in the morning, leave with your packed lunch and walk to the park headquarters for a briefing. At 8.00am

you will get on a mountain gorilla trail in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Observing mountain gorillas grumbling among

themselves and silverbacks (the head of the gorilla family) thumping their chest will send a chill up your backbone. Go back to

Buhoma Community Bandas to have dinner and rest overnight.

Day 8: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, drive through the beautiful the Kigezi Highlands– the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ –and arrive in Bunyonyi Overland

Camp for lunch. Enjoy a boat trip to the ‘Punishment’ Island, where the traditional Bakiga people would send girls impregnated

out of matrimony to let them die of hunger. Or they would risk swimming back to their homes and sink along the way. The

island also has many beautiful birds.

Day 9:  Kampala Trip

Take an early breakfast and start driving back to Kampala with lunch in Mbarara. Have a stop-over at the Equator for

photography and then arrive to Kampala in the evening for a visit of the city.

DAY ONE

DAY THREE
Uganda tours guide drives you to Murchison Falls National Park

DAY NINE AND TEN

DAY TWELVE

DAY SEVENTEEN

After breakfast, Ugandatours drive to L.Mburo National park where the Zebras call a home go for an afternoon game drive in search for Zebras, Impalas, Topis, Warthogs, Buffalos, Eland and many others. Overnight hotel or camp. FB.

After breakfast, our Ugandatours guide will drive you to Kampala, stop at the Equator and at the royal drum makers after that transfer to the Airport for your flight.

DAY ONE:

Thirteen (13) different species have been identified here. Ugandatours guide shall go for Chimp tracking where we have a chance to see a variety of other primates like. The Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Vervet, L’Hoerst and Red tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons, Red, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi wetland for a variety of primates we may have missed in the forest. DAY SIX:
Uganda tours morning transfer to Semliki NP, arrive for a nature walk along the hot springs where we may have a chance to see a some species of Uganda tours primates, the hot springs, if desired we may visit the pygmy in their new settlement at Ntandi then drive to the wildlife reserve arriving for a game drive where is lucky we may see the Leopard, Forest Elephants and some other game overnight Semiliki safari lodge. DAY SEVEN:
Uganda tours morning game drive then transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP, we have a chance for the view Ugandatours Rwenzori Mountains from short range. DAY EIGHT:
Uganda tours morning game drive through Kasenyi tracks and Kob mating grounds in search for lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Hyena, Giant Forest Hogs, and other game. DAY TEN:

DAY TWELVE:
Whole day Uganda tours hiking Mt Muhabura (4127 m), “the guide” we shall take approximately 8 hours round trip to cover the12 kms, Uganda tours shall pass a rocky surface covered by grass and small shrubs and once on top you will be rewarded with the view of other Virunga volcanoes, L. Edward in Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi and peaks of Mt. Rwenzori, (Incase you wish to hike another volcano we may change to the one you prefer most i.e. Mt Gahinga (3474 m) A hike which takes you about six hours round trip, goes through a good example of a pure bamboo forest. Ugandatours Gahinga once had a crater on top but time has changes into a lush swamp. The distance to the swamp is 8 kms. Sabinyo (3669 m) this offers 3 challenging peaks to climb. A climb up the mountain takes one up a ridge along the Eastern side of the climb to peak one. If you’re to continue, the climb to peak two involves walking a ridge with breath-taking drops into gorges of Rwanda tours and Ugandatours. Finally the hike up to peak three is steep with several ladders and mush scrambling. You are guaranteed to make your hands dirty enroot to peak three! Once on top you will be in Rwanda, Democratic republic of Congo and Uganda at the same time. The journey takes about 8 hours round trip to cover the 14 km stretch.
