TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Kampala Cultural Tour
On arrival at Entebbe airport you will be welcomed by our representative who will drive you to your hotel. You may choose to
go for a tour in Kampala to check some of the nice places in this capital such as the Buganda kingdom palace and its
parliament, Bulange, Bahai temple,Namirembe and Rubaga Gothic cathedrals, Kasubi tombs, Namugongo martyrs shrine,
Uganda museum,craft centers and many more depending on your arrival time. You will have dinner and spend the night at
Speke Hotel/Sheraton Hotel / Serena Hotel.Bwindi Gorilla Safari
Day 2: Lake Mburo Wildlife Tour
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo national park which is home to several animal and bird species not easily
found in Uganda. In the afternoon you will reach thepark, the only reserve in the country that supports a population of Impalas
(the handsome antelope after which Kampala was named).Then go for a game drive with a guide to look out for wild animals
such as warthogs, buffalo, bush pigs and many more. After the ride you might enjoy any on the following activities: sunbathing,
canoeing,volley ball, fishing if you have fishing gadgets.If you don’t have your personal equipment, inform us in advance so can
we hire it for you.Your dinner and night will be spent at Rwonyo Camp (budget)/ Mantana Tented Camp (luxury).
Day 3: Game Viewing Tour and Journey to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast you will have a game drive through the park and then go to Bwindi National Park through thekabale highlands
of Uganda. This mountainous area of the green highlands is commonly referred to as“the Switzerland of Africa”. You will arrive
in the late evening. Dinnerwill be taken and night spent at the Gorilla Forest Camp orBuhoma Community Bandas (budget).
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest
After breakfast, take a packed lunch andget to the park offices to get briefed. At 9:00 am start tracking the gorilla in the
impenetrable forest. It might take between 2 to 9 hours before finding the giant Gorillas depending on their movement. The
quest for these great apes might reveal tiresome as you will walk a lot.On the other side it is well rewarded as you meet and
spend time with these great gorillas. You may take pictures of them and look straight into their communicative and attractive
brown eyes. This is the lifetime thrill in a wildlife adventure only Africa can offer you.Gorilla forest Camp (luxury) or Buhoma
community Bandas (budget) will serve you dinner and let you rest overnight.
Day 5: Bwindi NP to Kampala
Drive back to Kampala after breakfast with lunch en route in Mbarara. You will arrive in the afternoon. Take dinner and spend
the night at Lodge-Lweza for an easy transfer to the airport.
